It’s Ladies Day at the Festival and I’m not sure what that means other than Channel 4 spending far too long on montages of women who got up at about 3am and broke out the welding iron to work on their costume for the day – probably soundtracked by a Florence and the Machine ditty.
We’re at the halfway point of the Festival and a change in fortune is long overdue.
Tony McCoy has picked Song Of Songs as his ride in the Byrne Handicap at 4pm, trained by James Fanshawe he catches the eye at 10st 7lb. He’s jumped poorly in the past, but can he get home over this trip?
