I'm not totally convinced that Kalahari King is good enough to take the Champion Chase. He seesm to get a bit outpaced over two miles now and a move up to two and a half might be best. The Ryanair perhaps.
I saw him at Kelso early in the season and he comofrtably put in his place by Noble Alan. Admittedly he was conceding weight all round, and the race did him some good, but he did seem to lack the pace to get involved from the final bend.
Bearing in mind he's run a few times on 'my patch, and represents 'The North', I'll have no problem if I'm proved wrong!
